T-minus 27 days and counting

There are so many things you need for a child. April and John were in town with Vivian so I got to watch first hand what we are in for. Not that I have not seen it before but this was the first time to see it when I could related to it. Before it just happened around you but now it is like take notes, ask questions, watch and learn, etc. I hope I can do as well as John does with Vivian. It does look like you get a system down and as long as Vivian works within the system everything runs smoothly, but I also got the impression that even when Vivian is dictating a different way they just seems to roll with it.

So as I said, we are 27 days out with only minutes to go before it changes to 26 days.

The anticipation continues to rise but so does the angst, is that normal?

Tick Tick Tick

Four weeks and four days and to think I have been telling people five weeks and four days. Where did I loose that week? As everything comes together you just have to wonder am I really ready for this? Not in the sense of do I want to do it (like there is much choice now (hehe)) but have I (we) thought of very thing? Is there a stone unturned that will cause issues later on? Or am I just trying to rationalize this to a project go-live? It is kind of like that. You have preparation, testing, validation, dry runs, etc. It is like a "big bang" implementation. You turn off the old system and turn on the new one and hope everything works. You plan for implementation day and your "Day 2" activities.

So what will it be like? The anticipation is killing me!

Prayers for Brooks & the Hess Family

Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers. They have been through so much. Brooks had a successful surgery today, but the next 12-24 hours are critical. Please lift them up!

Good Appointment Today....7 1/2 weeks and counting

I had my appointment today, and all is well! My belly is right on target as far as growth, strong heartbeat, etc. Still lots to do before Dalton arrives so I was glad to hear from Dr. Litsey that he has no current intention of inducing early. Next appointment is in two weeks.
